Flare leggings are perfect for winter.

They are warm, comfy, and stylish. Plus, they make your legs look longer and give that cool, laid-back vibe.

If you’re wondering how to style a flare leggings outfit in winter, don’t worry! Here are some fun and easy outfit ideas to keep you looking great all season.

1. Flare leggings + tunic top + blazer

When you want to keep your outfit polished and elegant this is what you can do.

Style flare leggings with a tunic top. Wear a blazer over it to make the outfit look complete.

For shoes, you can go for pumps, some platform heels, or booties.

2. Chunky sweater + flare leggings

One of the best ways to wear flare leggings in winter is with a chunky sweater.

It’s cozy and effortless.

The style of the sweater depends on your style. If you feel comfy wearing cropped sweaters in winter you can definitely go for them.

Go for oversized knits in soft fabrics. Neutral tones like beige, gray, or cream work well.

Want a bolder look? Try bright colors like red or blue.

Finish off with sneakers or ankle boots for a relaxed but stylish vibe.

The oversized silhouette of the sweater balances out the fitted waist of the leggings. Those together create a relaxed yet stylish look.

For an extra layer, add a fitted thermal top underneath the sweater. This keeps you warm without adding too much bulk.

You can also layer the outfit with some outerwear. For example, add a puffer coat or a faux fur coat to the outfit and you are good to go.

In case you need help layering your outfits, here is my article, where you can learn some great tips and tricks.

3. Vest + turtleneck + flare leggings

Nothing special here…

But this outfit looks stunning. Don’t you agree?

Layering is key in winter, and a vest is a perfect way to add warmth without bulk.

Pairing a fitted turtleneck with a sweater vest keeps the look sleek and stylish.

4. Cropped sweater + blazer + flare leggings + platform sneakers

If you’re looking for a trendy and youthful outfit, this combination is your go-to.

Not a fan of boots in winter? No problem!

Sneakers are a great choice, too.

Platform sneakers or classic white kicks keep your outfit looking fresh and modern.

This style works best with cropped flare leggings that show off your ankles.

Style the outfit with a cropped sweater, blazer flare leggings, and platform sneakers. Add some accessories to complete the outfit and you are ready.

5. Sherpa jacket + flare leggings + UGGs + beanie

If you love staying cozy, sherpa jackets are a must.

It’s a must for my whole family as well. We are in love with sherpa jackets.

They add texture and warmth while keeping the outfit casual.

Pair a sherpa jacket with your flare leggings and a simple top. Finish the look with chunky sneakers or UGG-style boots.

You can dress the outfit up very easily.

Opt for a faux-fur lined jacket instead. This keeps the comfy vibes but adds a touch of glam.

6. Everything solid + sweater over shoulders

Monochrome or solid-colored outfits always look sophisticated.

Wearing a solid color from head to toe creates a sleek, elongated look that works perfectly with flare leggings.

By the way, did you know that monochromatic outfits can make you look higher? – if not, it’s time to check out my article and find tricks to look taller and slimmer by just wearing the right clothes.

You can pair your solid color top with flare leggings. Add a long black blazer and then add a different color sweater over your shoulders.

That’s gonna be a very modern, unique look that you can wear everyday.

But you can easily wear this outfit to the office by wearing it without a sweater. It just will look classier and more polished.

7. Turtleneck + flare leggings

This combination itself is already perfection.

A fitted turtleneck looks amazing with flare leggings. It creates a clean, polished silhouette.

Layer a long jacket or short puffer jacket over it for extra warmth. Add a pair of heeled boots or platform sneakers, and you’re good to go!

Don’t be afraid to play with colors—monochrome outfits in winter shades like deep blue, forest green, or classic black always look stunning.

8. Sweatshirt + flare leggings + sneakers

Are flare leggings classy or casual? – well, it really depends on how you style them.

In this case, it’s a casual outfit that is perfect for everyday style.

But you can always switch up some things to make it look classier and more elegant.

Like you can wear a button-down instead of a sweatshirt and then add some layers to complete the outfit for winter.

9. Flare leggings + puffer jacket + wool hat

When I looked at the outfits that I shared today, I decided one thing.

Flare leggings are more casual pieces than classy ones. I mean you can create more casual outfits with them.

To wear this flared trousers outfit in winter you are just gonna need flare leggings (in any color), a solid color top (not cropped if you don’t like wearing them), and a puffer jacket.

Puffer jackets are a winter must-have, and they pair beautifully with flare leggings.

The bulkiness of the jacket balances out the sleek fit of the leggings.

A wool hat adds both warmth and a chic finishing touch.

Complete the look with chunky boots or sneakers for a casual flared leggings outfit.

And most importantly…

Never forget accessories. They are the key to every outfit.

10. Graphic tee + flare leggings + jacket

I love how flare leggings elongate your legs. They make you look more flattering as well.

Unlike skinny leggings, they add balance to your outfit and give you a trendy yet classic look.

They hug your waist and hips, then gently flare out, creating a beautiful shape that works well with winter layers.

Plus, they come in different materials, from cozy fleece-lined options to ribbed textures that add extra warmth.

By the way, do you have any idea what type of body shape you have?

If you heard the word body shape for the first time, I think you should check out the body types section on my blog.

You are gonna find a lot of interesting things about your body there.

11. Side-cut flared leggings + button-shirt + sweater

Here comes my first favorite outfit of the day.

I mean I love all of them since I shared them here but this is perfect.

I love how balanced it looks with so many extra fabrics flowing here and there.

You can try this look by wearing a long button-down shirt underneath a tunic sweater.

This outfit works because it’s all about layers. Using layers the right way is the key to styling the perfect flare leggings outfit in winter.

Side-cut flare leggings add a fun, stylish detail that elevates any outfit.

Layering a button-up shirt under a sweater creates a polished and preppy aesthetic. This outfit is perfect for casual office settings or brunch dates.

12. All-black outfit + flare leggings

I love wearing black clothes, especially since I gained a little bit of extra kilos after Christmas, lol

I am kidding, I love wearing everything that I enjoy wearing. I don’t always wear black.

But sometimes yeah, I am really in the mood of wearing everything black.

If that’s the case for you as well, this is the outfit you should go for.

And don’t forget to check out my 30 different black outfits here. This is where you will discover how you can wear everything black without getting bored.

An all-black outfit is timeless and effortlessly chic.

Mixing different textures—such as ribbed leggings, a puffer jacket, and a cotton tunic top—keeps the look interesting.

You can add gold or silver accessories to bring an extra touch of sophistication.

13. Oversize sweater + flare leggings

Not all flare leggings are the same.

If you want to choose your flare leggings wisely look for fleece-lined or ribbed leggings for maximum warmth.

If you want extra stretch, opt for spandex blends that move with you. Some are made with thick, warm materials perfect for winter, while others are better suited for fall.

14. Flare leggings + sweatshirt + puffer vest + sneakers

Here comes my next favorite.

If you want to know what to wear with flare leggings let me tell you puffer vest is the one thing you have to go for.

It pairs with flare leggings and sneakers perfectly. Plus it’s great for extra warmth.

15. Flare leggings + trench coat + hoodie

If you want to have some trench coat outfit ideas in mind, this is my previous article where you can find some chic ways to wear a trench coat in winter.

For this specific outfit, you are gonna need a hoodie, flare leggings, and a trench coat. You create an outfit with them and you are ready to go.

I have to remind you to not forget about accessories.

16. Flare leggings + crop top + sherpa jacket

There is nothing special in this outfit but I wanted to share it because I wanted to show you how different textures and lengths look in one outfit.

You have to always try to test new things on your body. Maybe you don’t like leather but you like spandex. Or maybe sherpa jacket makes you look bigger but fleece doesn’t.

You HAVE TO try. Remember that!

I think that’s all I wanted to share today. Hope you’ve got some outfits with flair leggings in mind.

Let me know which one is your favorite.
