Easy Lip Care Routine for Chapped Lips – the Hack to Get Softest Lips

I know how exhausting it is to have cracked and dry lips all the time. Because I always have so. But luckily I got the solution a few weeks ago and want to share it with you.

This is the easiest lip care routine that you can follow and get pretty soft pink lips neutrally. Additionally, I will share what are the things that matter for having healthy lips.

How do you heal a lip hack? The hack that worked for me

Take your clean toothbrush after you finish brushing your teeth and do a little massage on your lips. That helps blood to move properly and also it works as a lip scrub. Which removes damaged parts of your lips and makes them look glossy and healthy.

And also, you will need just one product that helps protect lips from harmful elements such as wind and UV damage. Sebamed lip balm is my number one choice. This is the only product that worked for me. It contains E vitamin and jojoba oil to heal and then guard the lips against any future damage.

Use it after doing a massage on your lips and leave it overnight.

It lasts so long, and it`s safe to leave it as well.

What vitamins are good for your lips?

Now let me share the things that I`ve learned during my way of finding the solution to my problem. There are some reasons why we have unhealthy-looking lips.

The most important reason is the lack of some vitamins. They are responsible for all the different things to do for the body and the lips themselves.

Vitamin E boosts blood circulation and may help generate new skin cells. That makes your lips softer.

Vitamin C moisturizes the lips and reduces pigmentation.

So, along with the lip care routine I`ve shared above, consider eating the food or fruits that contain the materials your body needs.

There is another thing that I discovered to help my lips to look healthier. It`s about drinking water. Yeah, there were some days when I forgot to drink enough water during the day. And when I looked in the mirror, I really did not like how I looked. So, I decided to manage to drink more water. That really helped me to get softer lips than before.

Is coconut oil good for lips?

Yes, it is. Coconut oil helps to moisturize lips neutrally. It is the best option for chapped lips. You can use oil to protect your skin as well. There is no limitation in using it throughout the day.

If you wanna get more moisturized lips, you can add some materials to the coconut oil you just bought. There are some of them you can use:

  • B vitamin
  • Aloe Vera gel
  • Olive oil
  • Avocado Oil
  • Shea butter

Add those extras to your coconut oil, keep your lip care routine for everyday use, and enjoy healthy, soft pink lips.

How To Take Care Of Lips Naturally?

Stay hydrated

I already mentioned that above but, I have to say that again. You need to make sure you drink at least 5-6 cups of water during the day. Because the main reason your skin is getting dry is that you don`t drink enough water.

An extra tip here: you can download a free app called “My Water Balance” from Google Play or Appstore. It will help you to manage the amount of water you need to drink according to your personal details. Like your weight, calories you get throughout a day, etc…

Sleep with moisturized skin

That`s actually a must to do part of your lip care routine. You can use the lip balm I have mentioned above or any other useful oil, including coconut oil. After waking up you need to gently remove those from your lips. That will also remove extra damaged parts from your lips.

Become a friend with honey )

Honey is a very beneficial thing for all beauty products. So you can also use it to have healthy skin and especially lips. If you are not very well with honey (like me), you can just grab the products that contain honey or are made with it.

Honey helps keep chapped lips moisturized and healthier. It also makes your lip color lighter. So, you can make a scrub with it and get damaged cells off your lips.


Remember one thing! You need to maintain doing whatever method you choose regularly. Because just one time nothing works. I tried that on myself. But also, believe me, a toothbrush and lip balm hack is the easiest way for a lip care routine to have healthy, smooth, and pretty lips.
